Robert E. and Maureen M. Kallstrom Memorial Scholarship Fund

Founded by Mrs. Kallstrom with preference to students majoring in music or computer science/information technology.

Through Robert “Bob” E. Kallstrom’s business and volunteerism with many organizations, he positively impacted Frederick County. For more than forty years, he worked in a computer related management position. He was the Founder and President of Softrac America, Inc. until his retirement. Mr. Kallstrom served on many boards including The Community Foundation of Frederick County, First Bank of Frederick, First Frederick Financial Corporation, the Frederick County Interagency Data Processing Authority, Historical Society of Frederick County, Hood College, and Maryville College. He was also a long-time member of the Rotary Club of Frederick and the Frederick Coffee Club. Mr. Kallstrom’s commitment to improving the lives of others will carry on through the fund by providing scholarships to Frederick County, MD residents for post-secondary education. Preference is given to students who are majoring in music or computer science/information technology.
