Founded by daughter Alice Jean Stine for grants to promote agriculture as a career, agricultural educational youth programs, or saving of animals after their productive lives are over.
Paul L. Stine, Sr. of Knoxville worked for the Frederick County Board of Education for 38 years as a driver. He was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Petersville. Mr. Stine was best known as a farmer, and the fund created in his memory by his daughter Alice Jean Stine captures his dedication to farming. The Paul L. Stine, Sr. Memorial Fund provides grants to nonprofit organizations promoting agriculture as a career, using agriculture or farm animals as learning tools for youth, working to save dogs and horses from being destroyed after their productive lives are over, or providing educational opportunities for youth involved in agriculture.
