Mark S. Kavanaugh Fund to Benefit the 12-to-24 Collaborative

Founded in memory of Mark S. Kavanaugh, this fund supports the 12-to-24 Collaborative.

This fund was originally established to provide scholarships for students to attend Phoenix Recovery Academy. Mr. Kavanaugh was a faculty member at Phoenix Recovery Academy and he was committed to making a difference in the lives of students recovering from substance use disorders. With the school’s closure in 2026 the fund was updated to provide support to youth in Frederick County through the 12-to-24 Collaborative.
