Founded by Mr. Myers to support The Catoctin High School Youth Fund and Shriner’s Hospital.
Mr. and Mrs. Charles Myers raised a large family in the Frederick area and were always interested in helping others in the community. Before his death in 1995, Mr. Myers established a charitable fund but had not decided its purpose. The Myers’ children pursued the establishment and direction of the fund to form The Charles F. and Helen A. Myers Endowment Fund. The Fund supports The Catoctin High School Youth Fund, which furthers programs for Catoctin High School students, as well as Shriner’s Hospital. These institutions were important to Mr. and Mrs. Myers.
Founded through Mr. Main's bequest as an unrestricted fund with special consideration given to grants for Calvary United Methodist Church projects. Learn More
