Founded by the Dudrows and now serving as an unrestricted fund.
Lester Dudrow was a well-known Frederick County farmer involved in the community. Mr. Dudrow was active in many community organizations, from the Walkersville United Methodist Church to the Lions Club of Carroll Manor, where he was a member for 39 years. In keeping with his commitment to community betterment, Mr. Dudrow and his wife started two charitable funds during his lifetime: The C. Lester and Dorothy Dudrow Fund and The Lester and Dorothy Dudrow Fund. Both support charitable endeavors. After Mr. Dudrow’s passing and to preserve his legacy and his love for farming, his wife and children established The Dudrow Scholarship Fund to provide scholarships to Frederick County residents studying agriculture.
