FREDERICK, MD – February 17, 2026: The Community Foundation of Frederick County’s online scholarship application for the 2026-2027 academic year will be open March 1 through March 31.
More than $1 million in scholarship funds are available to students pursuing post-secondary education and career training. By completing one general application, students may qualify for more than 200 scholarships.
Last year, Community Foundation scholarships supported more than 400 students and totaled $2.4 million.
Students about to complete their senior year of high school; students already enrolled in a trade school, college or university, or graduate program; and nontraditional students over the age of 21, are eligible to apply. Funds support scholars with various levels of financial need, and a wide range of academic achievement. All students are encouraged to apply.
