Community Foundation Announces FY27 Impact Grant Application and Training

FREDERICK, MD – August 19, 2026: Applications for funding from The Community Foundation of Frederick County’s FY27 Impact Grant cycle will be accepted from Sept. 1 through Sept. 30, 2026.

Impact Grants support critical projects that improve life in Frederick County. Nonprofit organizations that provide programs impacting health and human services, historic preservation, the arts, agriculture, civic causes, animal wellbeing, education, youth programs, and more should apply for more than $1,000,000 in available funding. All funding must provide direct benefits to residents of Frederick County, Maryland.

Nonprofit representatives are invited to attend an application training on Aug. 27 at 2:00 p.m. at C. Burr Artz Public Library, 110 E. Patrick St., Frederick, to gain insights into the Community Foundation’s Impact Grant process and requirements. Register for the training at www.FrederickCountyGives.org/ImpactGrantTraining.

Eligible organizations must certify they are one of the following: a 501c3 nonprofit, a government agency applying for an extraordinary project that is not funded by tax revenue, a religious organization requesting funding for non-sectarian activities, or a civic group that is not a 501c3 requesting funding for a community cause.
