What is the Estate Planning Council?
The Frederick County Estate Planning Council (FEPC) is an interdisciplinary organization for professionals involved in estate planning. FEPC strives to foster understanding of the proper relationship between the functions of the accountant, attorney, financial planner, life underwriter, trust officer, and any other parties having to do with estate planning to encourage cooperation of the persons acting under those disciplines.
FEPC is a local affiliate of the National Association of Estate Planners & Council (NAEPC), a national organization of professional estate planners and affiliated estate planning councils. It is focused on establishing and monitoring the highest professional and educational standards.
